Currently, the company creates educational content to engage with their clients and prospects using their written blog and sending this out to their clients via email and social media. Bidbetter were looking to add another dimension to its marketing in the form of video.

In this video, we helped Bidbetter explain their proposition and promote the Ebook with a combination of blog style interview and animations. There are some clever uses of pre-formatted video templates to show the Ebook being used by the viewer as well.

Winning a public sector contract isn’t all about writing and submitting that bid; it’s about developing and harnessing a long-lasting relationship with the buyer. Identify a public sector organisation that you know buys your goods or services and then you can start that process. It isn’t all about writing the bid, it’s about developing that relationship.


Compass Video and Bidbetter worked together to create a workflow to suit both the type of work and budget available. Rather than try and film a series of blogs in different locations over a long time period we created efficiencies by agreeing to film as many videos as possible in one day in a single location.

This included the elevator pitch, followed by a series of blog posts. This way editing can be done as and when is necessary and the cost spread over a longer time period.
