Last week the team from Compas Video was at Dorset County Hospital training the communications department, showing them how to make the most out of their smartphones to create video content. The attendees included staff from the comms team, Human Resources and Charity fundraising. The  NHS use video to communicate both internally and externally, so improving on the quality of their video is a great way of improving the quality of their communications.

Especially in today’s financial climate, the NHS is always on the lookout to cut costs and reduce spending. So what better way to do this than to learn how to make the most out of your smartphone as a video camera. We also showed them what apps they could download for free, which bits of kit to buy on a budget and what editing software they could use.

The feedback we have just received on Google makes it all worthwhile. If you would like help training your communications team to make better videos for internal and external comms then give us a call. Thank you, Dorchester County Hospital Trust:
